Jibbies Creepies!

I said something interesting enough to be posted on my friend, deadpoet's blog. Phwah! To me it's a real honour to be mentioned on his blog and an entire entry dedicated to me as well. :P *heehee*

KL Weekend Getaway ... Day 2

Part Deux, 24th April 2005

At around 6pm my youngest aunt called to say that she was already at Sungei Wang. So i bid Meiling goodbye and thanked her for showing us around and helpign me to haggle the prices down with the store owners at Petaling Street. Very important skill to have and most crucial to the fun experience of shopping. :P *heehee*

When i saw my aunt my attention was immediately turned to my two younger cousins. One seven the other two. *smile* Remembee Ellie from my previous post?

This was taken at the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaves at Sungei Wang, lil Ellie here almost finished up a ragular sized Pure Chocolate drink! *l* Her sister is too shy to take any photos so no photos of the sister this time round. :) Was good to see the two lil youngins again and Darcy mentioned that the elder girl was getting jealous of me placing all my attention on Ellie. *heehee* Which was true. :P *heehee*

After which we headed off to a restaurant located next to the side of the road and had typical Chinese "Zi Cha" (somehow i have sat here for a good 10mins trying to translate "zi cha" but can't ....). Another aunt and her hubbie joined us a lil later and that is when the party begins! Some of the main dishes were the restaurant's popular steamed fish, tofu and assorted veges on a hotplate, stewed three-layer-fat pork (Darcy's favourite dish of the lot) and bottles and bottles of beer. :P *heehee*

Most of the time i broke into Mandarin cos these are my aunts and i always talk to them in Mandarin and looking back i should have been more thoughtful cos Darcy doesn't understand the conversations that were going on at all. It's a habit you get into when you're with relatives esp. when their main language isn't English. So something i should take more note of when Darcy is next here and around my relatives.

Next my aunts drove us to see some Kuala Lumpur's signature landmark - the Sultan Abdul Samad Building and Merdeka Square. Built in 1897, the building used to house various administrative departments of the British Government at that time. Today, the building houses the Supreme and High Courts and Infokraf, a center for Malaysian handicrafts. Merdeka Square is where Malaysia first obtain independence from their colonial masters, the British. This is where the annual National Day celebrations on 31st August is held every year. But growing up and seeing a good 6 years of National Day parades on tv while in Malaysia.... it's nothing like the one here in Singapore. :)

My 5th Aunt insisted that we take a photo together in front of the building. :)

Sorry for the blurry and grainie shots. :P

Ellie was having with this balloon sculpture that my aunt bought for RM3. It was really cute and she was having so much fun with it. :P She wouldn't let anyone touch it and her dad was happily snapping photos of her on his mobile phone. :)

Ellie and her balloon.

My 5th Aunt and Ellie. Isn't she just sooooooo adorable.

When we got back to the hotel, Darcy had wanted to check out the hotel lobby bar and see how the live band is like here. Esp. after the one we saw at Miramar Hotel. *L* Anyways, cut the long story short i got drunk on a glass of Long Island Tea and in my defence it was a STRONG glass of LIT. It burnt the back of my throat as it went down and i had the good sense of mind to order a plate of fries to go with it otherwise i wouldn't have told Darcy that i'll go up first before i make a scene and fool out of myself. :P *Heehee*

So i went up, showered and changed into my nightshirt and was about to climb into bed when Darcy knocked on the door. He started laughing when i was stumbling half-drunk across the room to the bed. We had just started up the laptop to watch Robots, when i asked Darcy if the cookies that we bought yesterday were still around. He pointed out where they were and i grabbed it, came back to bed and proceeded to munch on them. Very soon they were ALL gone and i thought to myself : "Well that wasn't a whole lot of cookies left, he must have finished most of them yesterday.". I then dropped my chin onto the pillow and the next thing i knew was Darcy moving me around the bed and tucking me under the covers.

The next morning, Darcy told me i had gone through that bag of cookies so fast that he didn't even dare put his hand into the bag for fear i might mistake his hand or fingers for the cookies and munched on them. *lol* *heehee* I'll let him tell you how hilarious he thought i was when i am drunk. :P

Next up : KLCC sky bridge. Ride Home.

Keeps on Rolling

Am getting one bad news after another.

Just not having anything to cheer me up.

Not my new hair colour.

Not my upcomming trip to Melbbie with family.

Don't think i can take staying one more year if i lose everything i loved, have hope, dreamed and fought for.
