Ok, i'm annoyed. I'm annoyed and somewhat violated by this lady in her mid 40s. This lady in her mid 40s who was standing behind me at the platform of Raffles Place at around 6.13pm, Thursday, 27th May 2004 (-0800 GMT, Singapore Time).
Why am i annoyed with her you might say?
Cos' this lady had her fricking hand on my butt pushing me into the train the moment the train door open!!! Yes, her hand. On my butt. Yes, that means her hand on my butt, touching it. Pushing me. Yes, her hand still on my butt.
Well pardon me for saying this but :
"Excuse me lady, what the hell are you thinking putting your hand on my butt??!! Sorry, Ma'am. I'm not into ladies. Esp. not ladies in their mid 40s. And are you fricking blind? I'm no young sexy stud. *pinch my middle section* You see this?? This is flab! *hands on chest* You see this?? These are breasts! Which i am sure you have them yourself. So quit touching my butt!"
For your info, she was pushing me into the train cos' she wanted to get a seat. I mean if the people in front of me don't fricking move how the fricking hell am i supposed to move in???!
I am mad, am upset, i feel violated. Even my mom doesn't touch me like that on my bum!
Argh!!!

Parasite Dolls - 17th Apr (Sat) @ 4.15pm
Tokyo in A.D. 2034 is a veritable dystopia in which technological advances have enabled the creation of ëBoomersí ñ entities that utterly resemble their human counterparts, but have been created for the sole purpose of doing those laborious jobs bourgeois humans refuse to undertake. Unsurprisingly, a subculture of Boomers in terrorism and prostitution has flourished under the hands of miscreant humans. An anti-terrorist team called A.D. Police create special task unit Branch to tackle the rampant urban problem. However, the out-of-control Boomers pose less of a threat than the puppet-masters behind the scenes.
Directors : Yoshinaga Naoyuki, Nakazawa Kazuto (Japan, 2002)
Duration : 85 minutes
Rating : NC-16
The Day I Will Never Forget -18th April (Sun) @ 7pm
Documentary filmmaker Kim Longinotto turns her attention to Kenya at a key cultural transition period when the practice of female genital mutilation (or female circumcision) is being questioned and reversed. Longinottoís non-intrusive camera offers a powerful avenue for women to speak at times candidly, almost nonchalantly about the inexplicable necessity of sustaining the practice. These voices are contrasted with young girls and an increasingly more vocal community of women who are questioning the validity of unquestioned and irreversible tradition, including Nurse Fardhosa whose work is seen as a pioneering effort to gradually counsel men and women to give up the practice.
Director : Kim Longinotto (UK, 2002)
Duration : 92 minutes
Rating : NC-16
This is got to see simply because i wrote my first thesis paper in polytechnic on this topic. So i always have an interest in this topic and i urge people, esp. you ladies to go watch this and realise how much abuse and torture some women in this world have to go thru. This barbaric practice still goes on today in a world where what we need most is peace and humane sanity.
Kiss of Life - 25th Apr (Sun) @ 4.15pm
Helen lives in London with her aging father and two children, not quite coping with the role of a caretaker, all the more anxious as her husband John is an aid-worker in Bosnia. On her way to school with her children one morning, she is killed in a car accident. Meanwhile, John is unaware of his wifeís death and is slowly journeying home through a devastated war-torn landscape Balkan landscape. Released into an ephemeral world between life and death, Helen must make peace with her husband John before she can properly depart.
Director : Emily Young (UK, 2003)
Duration : 87 minutes
Rating : PG
I definitely see myself crying in this movie.... romance, war, love, death ... all the ingredients of a cry-fest, making me feeling a sense of longing and sadness...
Father and Son / Otets i Syn - 30th Apr (Fri) @ 7pm
Suffused with a warm glow in an indeterminate setting (shot in Lisbon), Sokurovís film is less linear narrative and more a poetic eulogy for the transcendental bond that unites father and son. The second in his ëFamily Trilogyí, which began with Mother and Son (1996), Father and Son reaches intimately into the heart of a relatively young fatherís love for his 20-year old son who resembles and reminds him of his dead wife. Living together in an apartment, few can penetrate this sealed off world (not even the sonís girlfriend). Allies, yet enemies, loyally bound to each other by love yet torn apart by precisely that bond, Sokurovís film bears a decidedly religious, spiritual tone. The film won the FIPRESCI Prize at Cannes International Film Festival.
(To be screened with My Body. )
Director : Alexander Sokurov (Russia, 2003)
Duration : 84 minutes

Singaporean Men's Woes?
Right, i was flipping through the afternoon edition of Streats during lunch while waiting for my food to be served and i came upon this lil piece of write up by a Mr. Seah Leong Khai. He noted that "local women [are] marrying Caucasians [men at] an alarming [rate]".
True, Mr. Seah it is a rising trend but please tell me something i don't already know.
He attributes this rising trend to the factors of (and i quote): -
1. "Caucasian men usually hold senior positions at work, earn more money and probably live in condominiums and drive big cars;
2. The local women believe that Caucasian men treat women with more respect than local men do, and
3. To earn the right to live and take citizenship in their husbands' home countries (in which case there is little point in offering SIngapore citizenship to these women's children)."
Well, Mr. Seah, to your point 1 that is a given fact. If must say so, i think that statement hints a bit of a case of sour grapes.
To your point 2, all i can say personally is that i am pleasantly surprise
- when a man would hold the door for me.
- when i get into the MRT and he, instead of almost pushing me away, offers me the empty seat instead.
- when i voice out my opinions of a fair equal share of a relationship entailing him to share the household chores (and i really mean sharing) and i share the financial burden and does not look at me think i am one crazy women and give me a pathetic statement of "You're intimidating and too aggressive."
In general, i say Singaporean men maybe be family oriented and able to give their children a "complete life" but how many men in Singapore are willing to move out of their parents home, rent an apartment and live a life of indenpendance??? How many men out there would willingly help out with the household chores at home??? How many men would willingly stay at home and be Mr. Mom if his wife earns a much higher salary than he does?
In Singapore, most men stay in the comfort of their parents home till the day they get married. Their mom or sisters are the one doing the household chores, they are not expected to do anything but study hard, get a good paying job, and spread their 'seeds of love' to carry on the family name. That's it. That is ALL they are required to do. They don't have to worry about having to allocate time to do the household chores like washing the dishes after dinner, the don't have to worry about having to mop and sweep the floor. Like i said ALL they are required to do is to basically have a family and carry on the family name and be the good boy. It's a very very asian culture which will have to be changed.
As for Mr. Mom, i stand up and give you a standing ovation to those who choose to be the one to stay home to look after the kids and everyday household chore and task. But to a man he is the embarrassment of the male gender. In my dad's words "Ta Men Dui Jing Nan Ren De Lian" (loosely translated - They are a disgrace to us men.). And i always tell me dad, that is one husband i would love to have!
I am not saying that i want to have my husband stay at home to do all the chores and look after the kids while i am out working and being the sole financial income earner. All i am saying is that the Singaporean men, generally lack in - a sense of independance, a sense of being gentlemenly, a sense of living life with a lil bit of spice and adventure. If i were to put it so bluntly, i would label them "Mama's lil boy" (awwwww..... pftftftftftf!).
Yes, i want a family oriented man, i want him to be committed to me and the kids. But i also don't want a dull and boring dud who does not know a sense of adventure in life. All he knows is bring home the pay check, have dinner, then plops his ass down in front of the tv with the excuse that he is tired from the day's work. Riiiiight. Like i am not tired? That i didn't have a rough day at work? Just because i am a woman doesn't mean i don't face the same things that you might face at work. But nooooo, we're expected to look after the kids, make sure they're fed, that they're doing their homework, that they're prepared for the next day of school, etc. etc.. By the time it is the end of the nite, i would have been so exhausted that i don't even have time to spend to myself to read the papers or magazine or watch tv.
It's not always about the 5Cs ... REALLY it ISN'T. In Singapore, you don't need to own a car. If you have it it's fine if you don't have it it isn't worth paying thru your nose for one. To me, a car in Singapore is not a necesscity, it is a luxury. You don't need to have a condo cos staying in a HDB 4 or 5 room is good enough. Sides the new condos are soooooo soooooo cramped due to the land scarce so it's not that big a deal anyways.
All i can say is, i'm not a girl who needs to be treated like a weakling and to be fussed over. I am independent and i expect to be respected and treated as an equal.

Am i a "kid-dult"?
Let me just say this in response to all the commotion when it comes to the government's effort to raise the number of child births each year :
I'M NOT READY.
Not because i am a "kid-dult".
Not because both my parents are still working and they have told me explicitly they don't want my money (least not yet).
Not because i don't handle my own utility and expense bills. (I handle every single one of my own bills which includes mobile, adsl, insurance, and two of my family's extra bills for entertainment.)
Not because i am very comfortable staying with the family with roof, food, warmth and love.
But simply because i am not ready. I don't think the government wants more dysfunctional families here in Singapore. And i am not about to bring a kid into this world to potentially suffer (if i have one now) cos i am not finally and emotionally ready or able.
Trust me it is not that i don't like kids. ALL my friends can vouch for the puddle of mush i turn into when a young toddler waddling like a duck at the early stages of learning how to walk or in the arms of the parents googling away. I even go to the point of stopping the conversation in a snap of the finger when my eyes spy a baby or kid around me and my friends will be left and abandoned in no time at all. But going all goo goo ga ga over babies and kids is different from having one or two or more of your own 24/7 for the rest of your life.
Right now, i have plans to work toward getting a stable career and relationship before i even think about bringing another life into this world. The world is a cruel place, bringing a life into this world just because i can now enjoy more benefit is just plain wrong.
Kudos for the government for encouraging the people in Singapore to have more kids, but then again it's high time the mom was given a longer maternity leave. Though whether or not it takes off well is another thing. After all how many employers we know in Singapore are known to understand and give their female employees adequate maternity leave with a decent wage package.
Also, don't make it a women's thing when it comes to pregnancy and giving birth. So only females and females alone have the physical capabilities. But glares from me from those men who even think to suggest that women go thru a BMT style of regime to psycho us to have more kids. OI! Fricking wake up, men! Having a kid is no more your responsibilty than a woman's. If you want to enjoy what your dad had in his days, make a time travelling machine and go back and enjoy for all i care. Cos nowadays, there is no way in hell my husband can push all the responsibility on me. No way will my husband (like my dad) comes home from work, shower, have dinner, thanks the me and plops himself in front of the tv. Then expects me to cook, clean, wash up after him and look after the kids. Nuh uh. Share. Share. Share.
Then again, that's what the general population of the men here love to do - make women feel inadequate.

Of tall tales and the big fish ...
Ever had one movie that wasn't a big award winning film like the LOTR trilogy or the Matrix trilogy but it touched you which very few movies can?
(Which by the way, LOTR was good but to sweep all 11 catagories it was nominated in... way too many awards for the last installment.)
Well for me, Big Fish was that one movie even though many wouldn't agree with me. It was really touching. All i knew about the movie before, was from the trailers i caught. I wanted to watch it because it looked like a fun movie to catch and just sit back and relax. Most of it's a fairy tale about life.
The star-studded cast with the likes of Danny Devito ("The Penguin"), Steve Bucemi (Guy gone crazy on the asteriod in "Ammergeddon"), Alison Lohman (fantastic young actress in "White Oleander" & "Matchstick Men"), Jessica Lange, Helena Bonham Carter, Albert Finney and Ewan MrGregor ("Moulin Rouge" fame), made such a unbelievable-believable, fantasy-real life story that you have to pinch yourself at times to just say to yourself some of this can't be true. *smile*
Personally, the movie to me is about life (duh...) more importantly though it is about how someone sees his life and even if it is a lil unbelievable at times doesn't mean it isn't true. The part that made me gasps and then go "awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww", melt and turn into a puddle of mush was when young Ed Bloom was standing in a miniature field of sunkissed daffodils just so he could win over young Sandra Templeton (Alison Lohman).
(By the way did anyone notice how Alison Lohman strongly resembled a younger Jessica Lange????)
The part i love most - when Edward Bloom was carried down to the river by his son and everyone of his friends were there to see him off. That's when you know you've really truly lived your life. That's how i want to go when Death comes knocking at my door.
I don't care what people think of Ewan McGregor but i think he gave a good performance in his role of the younger Edward Bloom.
(And i will give credit when credit is due, just like i said Orlando Bloom was stiff, very stiff in "Pirates of the Carribean".)
McGregor's portayal of the younger Ed Bloom was just right to make his character believable yet still have you question which part of the stories were true and which parts were for real. And Ed Bloom lying in bed being sick and dying does something what i think we all do at some points in our lives. (If you don't agree, then i guess i will speak for myself then.) I don't think there is anyone in this world who does not tell a lil tall tale just to make the story or incident a lil bit more interesting? And i am sure there are parents who do that. To me, it adds more life, more colour and vibrancy into ones boring everyday mundane life, esp. when i live in a city where at times my life goes in a clockwork routine : get out of bed - get dressed - get to work - look forward to lunch time - look forward to end of the day - go home - watch tv. And i see alot of raised hands and nodding heads on this one.
Funny, amusing, heartwarming and a whole lot of fun. This is one movie i want to take my sis to and hopefully she see how live can be as interesting as you want it to be.

A man tells so many stories,
that he becomes the stories.
They live on after him,
and in that way he becomes immortal.

Oscar-ess, the female grouch
Great, just fricking great..... I just realised that a good 25-30 of the phone numbers on my phone list in my cell is gone. No thanks to the Nokia 6610 handset that screwed up on me yesterday and i had to change for a new handset. So yes, now i have lost a lot of numbers. I know who some of the missing ones are but most are old contacts that i keep from primary to secondary school friends, contacts from my poly days and even some of my girlfriends numbers! Argh!!! *grumbles*

Right, THREE days after getting my new Nokia 6610 it 'konks' up on me! *pout* It switched off on its own and refuse to start up again. Every time i try to switch it on it switches itself right back off....
*grumbles* Now i have to trudge back down to Woodland's Nokia Care Centre to change for a new set. I am not settling for anything less since i paid good money for it and no way can a phone screw up like this big time in just THREE days.
Looks like i have a mission to accomplish today. :P

First Day
I started on a new job today, the other job gave me this one liner of me being over qualified for that job therefore did not offer me a permanant position but offered it to another girl. So, where am i working now? An American MNC in the "Environment, Health and Safety" department. Had quite a lot to learn only cos i have never been exposed in this engineering field before and there are alot of new jargons to catch up on. Not to mention new software programmes like Powersuite and Visio and Pivot Table. I don't know but i am going to take this as a sign of me having to struggle through this job for a while. Other than that, i have been thoroughly briefed on the working style of the two male boss i am assisting, thanks to the girl i am taking over from. Also, i was told, by the agency, to report to work at 8.15am this morning and i sat at the recept for a good 45mins. *grumbles* The girl i am taking over was on half day leave yesterday so she wasn't informed. The two male boss were not around in the office in the morning ... so yeah poor me sat there at the recep thinking to myself that i could have stayed in bed for an extra 30mins.
Now here is me starting on a whine ...
1. They don't have an expresso machine!!! *pout* All they have is a vending machine that dispenses Nescafe coffee, creamer and sugar *SIGH* i want my freshly grind beans!!! *whines* This girl needs PROPER caffine to perform you know. Best of all, the machine is on the 13th floor and i am seated on the 5th floor.... *mumbles grumbles*
2. I MISS my sea view from the 21st floor dearly (the office in my last job had a fantastic view of the sea from the 21st floor)...... *WHINES*
3. My pay will not be processed for this month cos the HR personnel that is supposed to approve my pay is AWAY and the cut off date is this friday and she is only back NEXT MONDAY! *grumbles* What do they want me to live on? Air????
4. THERE ARE NO EYE CANDY!!!! It's a company that is dominated by the testosterone pumped and fueled species we call "MEN" and there are NONE, you hear me NOT ONE eye candy! *grumbles* Bleh ...
And now for something totally anti-climatic... a quiz!

Recap
Darcy's Birthday
That's the cake i ordered for Darcy and it's good thing i ordered from this lady who does wedding cakes and chocolate turtles. Apparantly, she is known as the 'turtle lady' as her chocolate turtles are divine! Thankfully, Darcy's co-workers loved the cake and so did Darcy. :)
Oh i had the lady write
"Darcy,
Happie Birthday to the cutest 29 year old in town.
Lilone"
*hehe*
Friday the 13th
Well, i've always believed that Friday the 13th is my lucky day. *smile* And yep, i wasn't wrong. I had two interviews this morning, which i considered to be a very very lucky sign. I mean i only knew for sure that my last day in the job i was in two days before. So to get two interviews scheduled on the last day of my job was pretty impressive. BUT to have gotten a respond from one of the companies that had innterviewed me with a job offer that very same day .... wow... i really got lucky. *smile* So, i have a one year contract on the job with some benefits. :) The important ones though, like annual leave and medical leave. Which is good enough for me cos i can use the annual leave for my exams and stuff. :)
Oh, incidentally this company requires that the agency who got me this job do a full background check on me. *L* This is the first time i have to have one done on me but oh well nothing to hide. :) So i start on Tuesday and *grin* for once i'm in an ALL male environment (EYE CANDY!!!) and working for a male boss. *giggles*
Valentine's Day
Guess what, me and my girlfriends were planning on going out for dinner and hang out on Vday evening. Since we're singles, we're going to have a nite out for us singles and make fun of the couples. :P (Ok, so that was mean.... :P) Unfortunately, one of the girls had bronchitis and i was down with the flu. So we had to cancel on that plan. Doesn't matter to me, i spent my time with my guy online playing games as usual. Also, i gave him instructions to go down to the spa where he had a treat waiting for him. :P I had called two weeks before to make an appointment for him for a one hour session of hot rock massage which my bf testified that it was really really good.
Though, my bf told me that when he got to the spa centre the ladies immediately knew who he was. And seemingly, everyone knew about me calling from Singapore and making an appointment for him as a Vday present. *smile* guess they don't get many girls calling from Singapore to Red Deer, Alberta just to make an appointment for their guys. :P
*grin* What can i say, my bf gets a whole lot of pampering from me. :)
Happie Belated Vday, everyone.
Post Vday
Met up with Ruth, Pearl and Mala for dinner at NYDC today. *grin* Had a whole lot of fun just sitting down, talking about whatever and grooving to songs that was a blast from the past and us recalling how old we were when those songs came out. :P *heehee*

Super "sianz" ....
Another day at work. Can't be that hard to want some good news .... right?
Wanna know how i felt this morning? Try imagining "Hi Ho Hi Ho it's off to work we go" as the battery runs flat on the portable discman.
Yep...
Right now i just feel bleh... bleh.. VERY bleh... I feel disappointed too... the potential bad news took a turn for the worse and well... being over qualified did me in this time. Heh. Funny eh? I am over qualified. Me. Heh. That's the funniest thing i have heard coming from the director of a company. Oi, you want to tell me you don't want to train me and pay me good money say so lar. Don't give me nice words that have 'hidden' meanings. Keep telling me with my experience i get easily get an executive level job. Yar yar... whatever.

Feeling dejected
I have to wait ... yet again. Didn't know being over-qualified was going to be this big a problem.

Skinny Women Are Evil : Notes of a Big Girl in a Small-Minded World
(disclaimer : this is actually a book by Mo'Nique and Sherri A. McGee)
Well, was told some potential good news today but will any of it be concrete... i will only know tomorrow.
Busy busy busy day, one of my supervisors had a conference to attend today so when i came into work this morning, i was greeted by half my table covered in documents with yellow stickie tabs on them. Have been trying my hardest to clear the whole pile the 3 girls gave me last week and now i have a few more piles to deal with. No matter tried to finish them as much as i can but ... i failed.
Well, left work on the dot and finally dragged my big ass lazy self to the gym today to jog for 30 mins, did some weights and stretches and made funnie faces at myself whenever i walk pass the mirror at the sight of my jigglie thighs and bulging tummie and back. Can only blame my being lazy and not helping myself. :P The alarm only rang off in my head when my i had to desperately pull and tug at my jeans so i can button and zip up. And only after i suck in my tummie as well. *sheepish grin* Yeah, gym and swimming sessions 2-3 times a week for me!
Sooooooooooooooooooo........................................... What are your plans for Valentine's Day?

My friends.... i have something to say ....
Assumptions and a breakdown in communication can be a VERY dangerous threat to any relationship. And one in particular, friendship. I learnt that the hardway and i should have learnt it a long time ago.
Tonight, i was close to loosing a friend because i assumed she moved on and that her other group of friends (which i deemed to be 'cooler') took priority over me. I assumed that she had a better life than i have, having more fun, seeing the world more, living the experience and life that i secretly grew more and more jealous about. Having been pretty much left alone for the past 2 years, i've pretty much grown used to doing things on my own and having more time to myself. I've pretty much made a life that was different from when my girlfriends were around 2 years back. So she assmued i didn't want her in my life anymore and i assumed i wasn't good enough for her anymore. Thankfully, we managed to talk things out and we need to talk somemore. Too much assumptions and too much things are left unsaid.
So that chapter behind us, i look at the past couple of weeks. Life with the girls back (most of them) have been good but, and pardon me for saying this my friends, i feel threatened. In a sense, i look at myself and i don't really have anything to show. Other than work, which probably is why it became the only topic i talked about. Now that most of them are back, i am feeling the distance between me and them. I can't blame them cos it is not their fault. It is mine. And honestly, it's like being a hermit for so long that to come out and open up to the world and having to divide my time amongst them.... it's something that had become a lil foreign to me. Yep, you find out alot about who you are in times like these.
My gf, Qinz, said she was proud of me and that i finally gritted my teeth and just went back to school instead of trying to go to Aus or somewhere else for school. Honestly, i didn't think it was anything to be proud of. I am going to school just so i have the paper to get out of here. Away from the home i have been living in for the past 15 years. I need to breathe, i need to explore, i need to prove that i am worth something..... for myself. I apologise if this offends any of my gf who reads this in one way of the other. Though, i rather you be mad at me than to assume anything else. Least i know what goes on.

Rant .... just cos i can
I am going to attribute my being irritated, annoyed, and moodie to PMS. Yes, being a woman and having to deal with a monthly cycle for another good 30 years of my life, i think i am entitled to use that as an excuse every single chance i get. Bite me. :P
I know exactly why i am annoyed but i can't just in case i get into trouble like that guy from Microsoft who got fired becos he posted a certain picture on his blog. So.... i guess those reading this would have an idea that what i am annoyed at is related to work.
*grumbles* Lets just say i am going to borrow Tigger's line and say... "It's just fricking REDICOROUS!"
*deep breath .... one*
*deep breath .... two*
*deep breath .... three*
*deep breath .... four*
*deep breath .... five*
Right, anyone want to buy me a vanilla ice cream cone from McDs? It helps soothe me, seriously.

No more little nice girl.....
Dear ..... ,
I would appreciate it if the students of the 10th intake be given valid explanation/s as to why the dates for the next module has been changed on such a short notice without a discussion with the 80 students or so.
I believe each and everyone of us have taken a good look at the schedule that was given to us back in Sept 2003 when we had our orientation. Thus, we have had ample time to give our employers fair warning and have managed to work our work schedule around the given time table that SIM has provided.
Right from day one, SIM has emphasised that classes come first and deadlines are to be strictly adhered to unless valid documentations and reasons are provided. I believed most of us have fullfilled our side of that agreement and i hope that SIM will take into account that in this situation in hand, 80 people are having to bend their schedule to suit 1 person's request.
Having said that, i seriously hope that the assignment and presentation deadlines be reconsidered if the changes made to the dates are not reversible. Also in future, i would appreciate if there some sort of discussion with the students involved when there are future similar changes made to the course schedule.
Regards,

Excuse me... take two!
"Ring Ring"
Me : "Morning, [company's name]!"
Office Manager (OM) : "Ee, are you busy with anything at the moment?"
Me : "Nope."
OM : "Great, can you run an errand for me at the post office?"
So, off i went walking to the post office to run the errand and taking this opportunity to sms my gf openly (have been told the OM doesn't like us smsing in the office).
Booming male voice "Excuse me..."
My fingers stopped doing their daily aerobics routine on the phone keypad and i turned around to see this smartly dressed middle-aged Indian man walking up to me.
[MIND : "Oh god, no! Don't tell me you're going to try and sell me something. Why do i always get them coming up to me? Why can't they just leave me alone..."]
Man : "Can we have lunch sometime? I've seen you around."
[MIND : "Oh my god! You crazy man! No! Hell no! ... Right, calm down, smile and politely decline.."]
Me : "No thank you. Appreciate the offer."
Man : [Pulling out his wallet] Can i call you sometime?
Me : [Walking away now] No that's ok. You have a nice day.
[MIND : "Brain to Feet ... Don't run, i repeat don't run. Just walk away... FAST!"]
I think strawberry_lush might agree with me on this one. Working around here has definitely been an interesting experience. First, i get cornered by people selling me slimming products, next i get people asking me out for lunch! Complete strangers too!
Though, why did my bf and my guy friend, K responded in almost a similar manner???
Darcy : "and why didnt you go out to lunch with the guy*G* was he really creepy and ugly? I mean, come on...free lunch*G* make it in a public place, give him a false name and a fake number*G* that way you get lunch and save your money for Canada*G* best of both worlds...but, then you just have to walk a different way to work for the rest of the year and avoid the guy if he is a freak...but, hey, free lunch*G*"
K : "Smartly dressed... probably is rich, owns a car, owns a house... and you don't want. (Here, i protested he was old enough to be my dad) Ok, but don't complain no guys here want to date you."
Girls, you would have done the same thing i did right? I mean guy smartly dressed in his late 20s, fine. I wouldn't mind getting a number. But a middle-aged man?????
I still don't know if i should be insulted or flattered!
