Hitting the beach .... day two

After the lil scare the nite before and finally being able to lie down in bed for more than 5mins without having to run to the toilet to pee, i managed to sleep at around 5am and woke up at around 7am and decided to throw away all cares and go back to sleep even though breakfast ends at 10am. Was just too damn tired.

And i don't think i thanked Darcy proper for staying up all nite with me and taking care of me. I basically ambled round the room getting a glass of water to drink, taking the medication, leaving the glass and the bottle of water next to me by the bed, snuggled under the covers and promptly fell asleep.

It wasn't until Darcy shook me up at around 9am and asked if i still wanted breakfast or if i felt well enough for it. It took me 30secs to wake up and said yeah lets go for breakfast even though i wasn't too sure if i was up for it yet. So we managed to quickly shower and get dressed and made it for breakfast at around 9.30am. While we were done with breakfast by i made a comment that it is awfully gloomy and not 5mins later it was pouring cats and dogs. So we just sat around the the comfy cushions they lined just outside the lobby and waited out for the rain.

Right i cheated, this was taken on the last morning we were at Bintan. :P *heehee*

But essentially, this was the view we had from where we sat for breakfast. :)

When we headed back to the room a while later, i was still tired out from the nite before. I believed Darcy felt the same, so we just snuggled up at the lil single bed-like sofa and soon i was drifting back into dreamland. This was also the time i found out i like snuggling up to him and falling asleep in his arms. It's very, very comforting and secure. :)

By the time i woke up at around 3pm, the sun was peeking out from behind the clouds and Darcy had graduated to the bed and reading Dean Koontz. Since the whole purpose of the trip was to spend alot of time on the beach and getting a tan, we figured it is time to take a walk along the beach enjoy the sea breeze and enjoy the fresh air. :) I also took along my camera and tripod to take photos of the beach, the sunset and of course photos of us. *heehee*

And the model shots of Darcy begins... :P



Contrary to popular belief, Darcy was wearing his bermudas in this shot. :P But he just look so different here! Almost model like. :P

Love the way the waves creates curves on the sand, thought the washed up coral was a nice touch. :)

The nite went by without much excitement. We had dinner at Nirwana Gardens and unfortunately we didn't get the buffet spread as it was an off-peak period and so no buffet was served. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! But we did sit at my favourite table - Table no. 23. :P *heehee* So that was day 2 of our time in bintan.

Coming up in the next entry would be the last and final installment of our Bintan beach trip. :)
