We had to check out and check into Oriental before meeting Snorie for lunch at Raffles Place. Now here's the funny part, well it was amusing to me. :) At Hotel 81 Bencoolen, our room was 1413 (yeah, 14 unlucky for asians, 13 unlucky for the westerners... how funnie is that?! *L*) and at Oriental our room was on the 14th floor as well. *grin* The room was fabulous, i espcially love the bathroom. It was so spacious! And it was FULLY equipped with a sewing kit too!
Figured we would take it easy the first day he was here with having been in the air for about 36 hours. So in the afternoon, we went for a pedicure. Yep, you heard me pedicure for the both of us. :) I had a full manicure done as well. *heehee* Felt so pampered, a feeling that would last throughout the 2 weeks when he's around. *beams* Had a quick dinner at Crystal Jade Kitchen after our pampering session followed by a movie. Caught Sahara to which had me sleeping through it for the first 1/3 of the movie. :P
I still couldn't sleep the second nite and poor Darcy was again woken up at some ungodly hour .. i think it was 5am when i bug him to wake up. :P We kinda channel surf wondering if there was anything good on tv, sad to say they didn't have AXN or Star World that would have been fun. :P Hence, why were up to admire the sunrise view from the room at 7am.

We spent most of the second day shopping for gifts and souveniers for hisfamily and friends. Before we headed out, Darcy presented me with a whole bunch of presents for my birthday and for the meet up. It's sorta like a tradition he has, in the last trip i had some meet-up presents as well. For my birthday present proper, it was a Swarovski earring and necklace set in my birthstone - Aquamarine.

I also took the opportunity to do something that i have not had the chance in doing before - dress him up. *grin* I know he was a tee shirt and jeans guy and i also know he also had a collection of long sleeved shirts. But what he lacked was short sleeved shirts that can take him from casual to smart casual. I also introduced him to the concept of not tucking in his shirts all the time. :P *heehee* I did however came to realise that shopping for him is harder than i had expected and i think i won't be doing it with him anytime soon. *heehee* In the end, i did get him a nice simple white shirt that i hope he really liked it and not just saying it in front of me to make me feel good. :P *heehee*
Of course, this nite was the nite that he has been eagerly anticipating all week long. Why? Becos this was the nite we were going to Hooters for dinner with Kenneth, Madhu and her bf Matt, and Xuefang. :)
I will gleefully add that he was soooooo disappointed with the Hooter girls here. *giggles* But nonetheless, i asked some of the girls he was eyeing on to take photos with him. *heehee*

Canned BC Fresh Air. I got a good laugh out of this. As Darcy would say it .. curious! Chanel's Elixir Sensual & my signature perfume by Ralph Lauren. :P

Had a good time eyeing on the Hooter girls with Madhu and even came to the conclusion that one of the girls was wearing a short that came up to her butt cheeks and that becos it was so short she probably wasn't wearing any underwear. And the reason why she was wearing such short shorts was becos she was well endowned up there so she had to make up for it. :P *heehee* She had a nice perkie butt though. :P *heehee*
Darcy made a mention about how it was ok for ladies to talk about and comment on other ladies' body parts and physique. But if the men were to do the same *buzzer sound* that's a big no no. To which Madhu, Xuefang and i just laughed and enjoyed the double standard while we can. :P *heehee*
The food at Hooters was good though, esp their wings! YUM YUM YUM YUM YUM! *licks lips* So much so i couldn't finish my burger. *grumbles* I should go back there again sometime soon. :P *Heehee* Oh oh oh the fries were good too! YUM! Darcy was probably still suffering from jet lag cos he had to doggie bag his burger. *L* Which had Kenneth shaking his head and saying that he was disappointed in Darcy. *l*
After dinner, we dropped Xuefang off cos she couldn't join us and the rest of us packed into Matt's car and headed off to our room for some ice wines. Another yum yum. *grin* Think the excitement and the alcohol made me a blabber mouth cos i pretty much said too much and shared way too much info. I kept saying "i think i should shut up now" but onr minute later i would start blabbering away, catch myself, say i should shut up again and then start all over again. *lol* When everyone left Darcy kinda whacked me lightly on the head and shook his head. *lol* *giggles* *heehee* *sweet look at Darcy who is reading this* *heehee*
Right this has been a long enough blog. So am going to end off with some of the other photos from our outing to Hooters.
